CANDLE CARE & BURN GUIDE
The Essential Rules (All Sizes)
- Trim Before Every Burn: Always trim the wick to 1/4" before lighting. This keeps the flame steady, prevents soot on the glass, and maximizes your scent throw.
- Never Exceed 4 Hours: Do not burn any candle longer than 4 hours at a time.
- The Final Burn: Discontinue use when 1/2" of wax remains at the bottom of the glass to prevent the vessel from overheating. Clean out remaining wax to reuse the glass jar.
SIZE-SPECIFIC BURN TIMES
2.5 oz Ambient Votives
- First Burn: 1 to 1.5 hours. Because the vessel diameter is narrow, the wax pool will reach the edges quickly.
- Best Use: Small spaces, bedside tables, or trial discovery burns.
- Note: Watch closely toward the bottom—smaller vessels heat up faster.
12 oz Signature Vessels
- First Burn: 2 to 3 hours. Crucial to let the molten wax pool reach the full outer glass rim on the very first light to prevent tunneling.
- Best Use: Medium to large rooms, living spaces, and daily scent rituals.
24 oz Statement Vessels
- First Burn: 3 to 4 hours. Larger wax pools require a longer initial burn time to melt evenly across the entire surface.
- Best Use: Open-concept spaces, grand entrances, or high-airflow rooms.
- Note: Always keep away from overhead fans or drafts to ensure a uniform, flicker-free melt pool.
