FAQ

Where are Vice of Vieve products made?

Every bottle is a testament to domestic craftsmanship. All Vice of Vieve fragrances are formulated and bottled by hand in the United States, utilizing a palette of globally and ethically sourced ingredients to ensure the highest standards of quality and integrity.

International Orders

Can you mark my package as a gift or lower the declared value?
To comply with customs regulations, all international orders must be declared accurately at their purchase value. We are unable to mark orders as gifts or reduce the declared value on customs forms. Any customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or import charges are determined by your country’s customs agency and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking Updates

My tracking says “Label Created.” Has my package shipped?
Yes! Due to the volume of packages dropped off at once, carrier scans can occasionally take 24–48 hours to update after a shipping notification is sent.

What is NO FOMO?

We offer two types of sales: Premade Sales, which have a 7–10 business day turnaround, and our NO FOMO Sales—a semi-annual custom event with a 2-4 week turnaround. NO FOMO typically takes place on November 1st and April 1st.

Where do you currently ship?

We ship worldwide. Please be aware that customs and duty fees may apply depending on your country. These charges are determined by your local government, not by Vice of Vieve. Before placing an international order, ensure you are comfortable with the possibility of paying these additional fees.

How much does shipping cost?

Orders over $175 ship free. Standard shipping: $10 Priority shipping: $15

Do you offer package protection?

Please select Package Protection on the cart page to safeguard your order. If you’d like to add coverage after checkout, email us at sos@viceofvieve.com before your order ships. Without Package Protection, Vice of Vieve cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen, or packages damaged in transit.

After I place my order, how long until I receive it?

Orders typically require 7–10 business days for processing. Pre-order items will ship on the date specified on the individual product page.

Will you combine my orders?

In order to keep our fulfillment timeline on track, we have moved away from guaranteed order combining. Each order is processed as it is received. If you place multiple orders, they may ship in separate packages with individual shipping charges. We appreciate your understanding as we work to get your scents to you as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

Order cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. After 24 hours, orders cannot be canceled.

Returns

Due to the personal nature of our products and the fact that they are often limited-release, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges based on 'blind buy' dissatisfaction. We encourage reviewing the scent profiles carefully before purchasing.

When a product sells out, will you ever get it back in stock?

Our fragrances are usually limited-release, though some may be restocked in the future. We recommend stocking up on your favorites while you can, as they may not return until our semi-annual NO FOMO sale.

Fragrance Settling / Mail Shock

Fragrance Settling & Scent Perception
Your fragrance may have been agitated during shipping or may be a freshly compounded batch. We recommend allowing your bottle to rest in a cool, dark place for 48–72 hours after arrival so the notes can settle and reach their intended potency.

It’s also important to note that olfactory fatigue (nose blindness) is a common occurrence where your brain begins to filter out a familiar scent. This does not necessarily mean the fragrance has faded. Because our fragrances are highly concentrated, others may still be able to smell the scent even when you no longer notice it yourself.

We do not offer refunds based on scent longevity, scent perception, or personal fragrance preferences.

Usage & Safety: Do I need to patch test?

Yes. Due to the high concentration of our Extrait de Parfum, we strictly recommend performing a patch test on a small area of skin (like the inner wrist or elbow) before full application. Wait 24 hours to ensure no sensitivity occurs. All products are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, and keep out of reach of children and pets. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

How do I make my scent last longer?

To keep your vices potent, store them in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and humidity. For maximum longevity on the skin, apply to moisturized pulse points.

Why does my perfume look different than my last bottle?

We use high quality, often natural ingredients. Slight variations in color are normal and expected depending on the harvest of the raw materials. This does not affect the scent profile or quality of your fragrance.

Disclaimers

Our products are intended for aesthetic and aromatic use only. Statements regarding the 'Uplifting' or 'Moody' nature of our scents are based on fragrance psychology and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.

Due to the high concentration of natural oils and pigments in our Extrait de Parfum, we recommend avoiding direct contact with light-colored fabrics, silk, or delicate materials. Always apply fragrance directly to the skin and allow it to dry completely before dressing to prevent potential staining.

Olfactory fatigue (nose blindness) is a common occurrence where your brain 'filters out' a familiar scent. This does not mean the fragrance has faded. Because our scents are high-strength, others will likely still perceive the scent even if you do not. We do not offer refunds based on scent longevity or personal perception.

Your fragrance may have been agitated during shipping or is a freshly compounded batch. We recommend letting your bottle sit in a cool, dark place for 48–72 hours upon arrival to allow the notes to settle and reach their full intended potency.
